Flow Creative wins big at International DADI Awards

We’re absolutely delighted and extremely proud to have won two of the most prestigious awards at the International DADI Awards last week.

Flow was named the Creative / Digital Team of the Year and Agency of the Year whilst also being highly commended by the judges in the Video Campaign of the Year category for its video work for BBC Three. As a result, Flow is being touted by the organisers as one of the big winners of the night.

The DADIs, that welcome international entries, have been rewarding the very best in digital for over ten years and are recognised as one of the biggest awards in the industry.

The judges were impressed with the agency’s ambitious growth, impressive client roster and financial results. At less than two years old, Flow stood out for its groundbreaking social video work for BBC Three and outstanding national campaigns for household names, including Ministry of Sound, NOW Music and Arts Council England.

The seven-strong team, which is made up of a mix of designers, animators and film makers, as well as a studio manager and communications director, brings with it a wealth of skills and experience and a passion to create outstanding, memorable work.

Flow was also shortlisted in the Best Use of Online Video category for its work with BBC Three – one of Flow’s retained clients. The campaign of social videos Flow has produced have been a huge viral success when shared across the channel’s social platforms, gaining many millions of views, likes and shares, and helping to deliver hug growth to BBC Three’s online audience.

Our creative director, Karl Doran, is overjoyed with the outcome of the night. Talking to The Drum about Flow’s success he said: “Wow! What an amazing night. We’ve had a dream start as an agency, winning a total of six awards so far, and working on some great projects. We work hard to build good relationships with our clients so that they trust us to deliver our most creative, thought-provoking and engaging work. But it takes brave clients to make it work too, and we’ve been really lucky to work with some fantastic clients in our first year. We work collaboratively with them in an atmosphere where everyone can contribute, because ultimately we all want the same thing – to push the boundaries and create ground-breaking content.”

He continued: “To think we’re only in our second year and we brought home two international awards is so exciting for us. We won four regional awards earlier this year for our work with the Arts Council, so to be recognised for our social video work, and the strength of our team and agency too is just phenomenal. We’re still developing and growing as an agency but we’ve had the best possible start, and I can’t wait to see where Flow goes from here.”
