Our friends and partners Web Foundry asked us in to create an engaging, dynamic animated video to be played on a range of newly constructed external digital display boards, and existing internal screens, in and around the Trafford Centre.
To create an eye-catching and arresting piece of video to grab the attention of passing traffic, and to encourage businesses to advertise on the new screens.
Key to the success of the screens was to show the potential benefits to brand of the massive exposure the locations get.
We had a blank canvas to develop a bold visual style for the graphics and typography, but had to allow space for the integration of filmed video footage of the locations.
We developed a concept loosely based on a cinematic trailer using the intro messaging – Coming Soon – Your Brand – On This Big Screen – to help potential advertiser to visualise their brand on a new, state of the art screen, at this prime location.
The graphic styling uses geometric shapes and typography to catch the eye, and the filmed drone footage of the location and internal Trafford Centre footage then reinforces the message that this is a valuable spot to advertise.
The videos really catch the attention of passing traffic, and look great on the big screens.
The clients happy and the screens have been very effective in generating new advertising enquiries.
